Monday Momtra “Earth, Wind, Fire and Water”. By Tiffany Sara Taylor 9/11/2017.

Hello All! <3

As always, I encourage you to discern any considerations I offer against your own inner knowing. We are each on our own journey of self-discovery and what resonates with one soul may not for another.

The past few weeks, mother nature has shown her strength. Or maybe just a different manifestation of the strength she shows every day? The perfect rhythm of the seasons. The resiliency of her green, returning each Spring. The first new bud to pierce through charred soil.

The fortitude of our Gaia is humbling-at the hands of a humanity that finds it seemingly more easy to claim dominion and a right to pillage as opposed to a call of co-existence and stewardship. This past week has evoked within our very physical realities… a very real call to awareness if we chose to accept it. And on how auspicious of a date, 9-11, is it to write about an urgency to wake-up our greater consciousness?  A divine alarm buzzing to alert that our lack of balance (whether planetary, personal or collective) will manifest, without fail, in an effort to secure our awareness.

Our lives seemingly materialize through some synergy of tension between stability, flexibility and transformation. Calling us to give way to each of these experiences, often simultaneously.

All things, in all ways, are perpetually seeking balance. Our earth. Our countries, communities, families…our inner self. This balance is seeking us. IT, is always in the process of calling us. Just as love does. When we relax to it, it’s just there…right on the cutting edge of our newest awareness. The harder we seek for it, the more we may feel that it eludes us. And in the experience of moving with our ever evolving balance, one thing is for certain, as long as we are clinging to the anchor, we can never ride the wave.

Transformation burns through our outer experience in order to reach our inner perspective. There may be nothing as profound as a looming natural disaster to re-prioritize our worlds. What’s important? Is it our things, or that we realize that we have the ability to walk away from them? Is it our ability to protect or to be always resilient in spite of? Our resolve to save things or our ability to find buoyancy when things appear to be sinking? Whether you are experiencing any of these events personally or vicariously right now, it is not easy to ignore.

Questions that may serve to reshuffle things into that better balance for you, both inside and out:

  1. What/who is home and how do I care for it/them?
  2. What am I attached to?
  3. What is worthy of my attachment?
  4. Do I serve my attachments or my growth?
  5. Do I thank or curse my call to new levels of balance?

And maybe even…

Now that I have had a 911 call…what are today’s steps toward new priority and balance?

What’s really important to us when the storm comes? Not what we thought would be. Not what we think should be. What IS? And more importantly…can we remember that when the dust settles?

Earth, wind, fire and water. Faithfully moving through each of our experiences. Calling to us to get real. To stay real. To come into our new balance with all of it, after all, it’s only natural.
