Monday Momtra “Conditions or Standards”?  By Tiffany Sara Taylor 6/12/2017.

Hello All <3

As always, I encourage you to discern any considerations I offer against your own inner knowing. We are each on our own journey of self-discovery and what resonates with one soul may not for another.

Often the journey into an expanding consciousness brings more questions than definitive answers. But the questions are the good ones. And they are the means of growing our awareness about who we are and why we live in the ways in which we do. The answers that do come to us, we learn are serving as the stepping stones to the next really good questions. A never-ending process of opportunity and growth. We actually remember that this is the nature of an eternally expanding creation.

Some of the biggest questions that arise revolve around what motivates us to make the choices we do. What magnetism draws us to particular people, circumstances and situations. As our ability to observe ourselves in this expanding consciousness opens, we quickly realize that these motivating forces just as often live outside of our awareness as they do within. And when outside of our awareness, those suppressed or conditioned belief constructs guide us to events to eventually make themselves known to us. Always emotional in nature and always asking to be seen, acknowledged and…felt.

What most of us hold deeply in our unconscious shares the denominator of fear. Fear of loss, abandonment, rejection, separation, suffering, judgement, pain…and ultimately death. Collected over a lifetime, there comes a prophetic moment when we may make a very aware choice to turn and face these fears. At a soul level we realize that they prevent us from fully living. We realize that living at the mercy of fear does absolutely nothing to mitigate the times of inevitable pain that are woven into the very design of our life experience. We also realize that to feel the fears and pains of this life is part of living out that design to its fullest intention. A bitter-sweet realization about our journey.

As patterns and beliefs attached to our feelings of fear arise and reveal themselves to us, we can begin to assess the polarity of a very core motive in our life.

Control (the negative polarity) -or- Connection (the positive polarity)

Which feels more representative of the way in which we approach others and the circumstances in our lives? Living life from the lens of fear avoidance leads us to desire control in an attempt to contain and/or bypass our fear. When living life through trust and love (the opposite of fear or the avoidance of feeling it), we are drawn into connection with the people and experiences around us. We live from our esteem/worth instead of an effort to find it.

Life choices that manifest from a foundation of worthiness hold a much different energy and trajectory than choices we make in attempts to shore up our lack of worth through external circumstances. The former emanates from within and stakes a humble clarity and claim to value and standards. The latter seeks validation through external circumstances and conditional living.

Consider that as a humanity, we have developed entire systems around our fear…of fear. From family and social structures to political, economic and religious constructs. These are deeply entwined with our psyche and personality structures and the unraveling of all of these things is a process. And not the easiest one.

But….on the other side of that?

A newfound clarity. A rising of authenticity. A renewal of spirit.

The result is that the conditions which we had laid out for our lives shift instead into the standards we desire and uphold for our lives. We release the control in exchange for meaningful and worthy connection. We are willing to meet the fear when necessary so as not to keep us from also discovering the fullest sweetest of life. We move with a worthy soul… to create a life worthy of living.
